Shipping and Handling
Our chocolates are high quality and perishable. We take great care to ensure that your order from The Happy Chocolatier arrives in good condition and tasting delicious. The chocolates are packed and protected to ensure safe arrival. We ship using either the U.S. Postal Service or United Parcel Service (UPS) delivery. We ship orders throughout the continental U.S. to the addresses you provide. For orders to Alaska and Hawaii, please call us at 978.429.8485 for rates. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses as our chocolates will be impacted by heat. Please take extra care in filling out your order form, since we are not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete shipping addresses. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours, unless warm weather is an issue. Our standard shipping days are Monday through Wednesday. We will ship on Thursday and Friday if our assessment of weather is that it won’t impact the chocolates. We generally do not ship for Saturday delivery.
Warm Weather Shipping
Cold pack inserts and insulated packaging are required for shipping during the months of May to September as required by weather. Certain states with warm weather year round may require cold pack inserts and insulated packaging during the winter months. The additional cost for these materials is $5.00. Please refer to the shipping chart above for approved shipping methods to ensure your chocolates arrive in good condition.
*All orders shipped to warm weather areas or from April 1 through September 30 will be shipped using insulated packaging and ice packs for an additional fee of $5.00 per package.
